Project:"Of Day, Of Night"
A map of sorts. A handful of objects. A problem with dreaming.
"Of Day, Of Night" is an experimental new media
work for CD-ROM exploring the intersections of narrative and
interactivity. A hybrid of cinematic, textual and interactive
elements, it finds resonances between dream experience and
the unexpected associations inherent in new media forms. In
"Of Day, Of Night", found objects and their imagined
traces and histories assist a woman who has a problem with
dreaming. "Of Day, Of Night" was produced in 2000
and 2001, and will premiere in Australia in late 2001. Made
in association with the Australian Film Commission and the
University of Technology, Sydney.
